関戸　真由美

代表のMayumiです。
私は帰国子女でも留学経験があるわけでもありません。30歳のころ仕事で行った L.A.が大好きになって｢英語が話せたら、もっと楽しいだろうなぁ。｣なんて思いからアメリカ人講師の英語レッスンを始めました。
そして　気づいたのが、英語は訓練すれば上達する。って事。
英語がペラペラになる近道は無いけれど、無駄なことを省き、必要なことをくじけずコツコツと毎日訓練すれば必ず話せるようになりますよ！
私と一緒に頑張りましょうね！

歌と踊り担当のAliceです。
私は息子がこの教室に通い始めたのをきっかけに、前から興味のあった英語に、もっと触れてみたいと思い、友達を誘い大人のクラスを作ってもらいました。
初めの内は、先生の英語がひと塊りとなり、全く内容を聴き取る事が出来ませんでした。でも、レッスンを重ねていく中で段々に耳が慣れ、単語を聴き分け、少しずつ理解できる様になっていきました。
そんな中で、教室の生徒が増え、クラス内での簡単な雑務を手伝う様になり、今に至ってします。
クラス運営に携わる中で、OxfordのTeacher Training Certificate Programも受講しました。全て英語での講義は 私にとって とても大変で難しかったのですが Mayumiに助けてもらいながら なんとか修了する事が出来ました。
Cozy Clubに出会えた事で 様々な体験ができ 自分の世界が広がりました。
未だに 自分のレッスンでの宿題に 時々頭を悩ませていますが ボケ防止にと続けています。
これからもGrandmaの様な気持ちで 生徒達と楽しいレッスンをしていきたいと思っています。

Brian Mahoney

I love teaching at Cozy Club. The teachers and students motivate me to do my best. I really enjoy teaching English because I get to teach my students a new way to communicate. It is so rewarding to watch my students grow and learn. English is such a hard language to learn and they really work hard and try their best. They learn so fast and seeing them excited when they learn new words is really fun. I love learning about Japanese culture. My students teach me a little about their lives with every class. I really enjoy the opportunity to teach in Japan. Each class the students get better and we are able to speak more English together. Learning to communicate with others is so important and it is a great way to connect with people all over the world.

Manday Stevens

Hello! I am Mandy Stevens.
I am 25 year old
Towson University graduate with a passion for teaching children. I taught art education in Florida before moving to Japan where I found a love for teaching English.
I love to make learning exciting for children by staying up beat and positive. I believe teaching and watching children learn is one of the most fulfilling experiences.
I hope to make English learning a fun and enjoyable for all ages!

Catherine Allen

Hello! My name is Catherine Allen and I’m from Memphis, TN...the home of Elvis! I graduated from the University of Memphis with my BS in Biology. I absolutely love teaching with Cozy Club here in Japan and have been on the team for over a year and a half! Teaching English is a passion of mine and it’s so wonderful to watch the students learn and grow. I love exploring Japan and learning about the culture and it’s exciting to have the opportunity to show the students a small piece of American culture as well!

A 1997 graduate from Fresno State University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I have 10 years experience teaching elementary school in both public and private schools in America. I have been teaching English in Japan for almost two years to adults and children giving group and individual lessons.
